Delta Offers Travel Assistance to Customers Affected by Hurricane Earl Along the U.S. East Coast

ATLANTA, Sept. 1 /PRNewswire/ — Delta Air Lines (NYSE: DAL) is offering customers whose flight plans may be affected by weather from Hurricane Earl the ability to make one-time changes to their travel schedules without fees. Delta's weather advisory encourages customers to consider postponing or re-routing their travel to avoid possible inconvenience from expected East Coast flight delays.


Customers booked on Delta-ticketed flights to, from or through the following cities, on Friday and Saturday, Sept. 3-4 may make a one-time change to their travel schedule without fees. Customers may immediately rebook for travel before or after their original travel dates as long as new flights are ticketed by Sept. 11, 2010.

* Manchester, N.H.

Flight delays are possible Sept. 3-4 as a result of Hurricane Earl, and Delta may proactively reduce flight schedules to minimize delays. All customers should check their flight status at delta.com before arriving at the airport.

Travel for changed itineraries must begin by Sept. 11, 2010, and changes to origin and destination may result in a fare increase. Any fare difference between the original ticket and the new ticket will be collected at the time of rebooking. Customers whose flights are cancelled may request refunds.
